On February 29, a performance - research will be held at the MuseumLV gallery of the Cultural Center Grata.

“Living intellect VS AI. Poetry of thought and the real possibilities of AI”

During the evening, performance participants read poems by contemporary Latvian authors to artificial intelligence to translate a living voice into text and create a picture on the big screen based on the interpretation of this text, and then tells its own version.

Among bilingual reading participants:

Milena Makarova - poet, translator, author of the poetry collection "New Mythology". The poems of Amandas Aizpurietes, a modern classic of Latvian poetry, translated by Milena Makarova.

Rita Troškina - journalist, manager of the "Green Lamp" project, poet, author of the poetry collection "Luno Momento".




As part of the current exhibition "Spring Soon?", which we conceived as a concentrate of creative ideas of classical art, a performance study will take place - "Living Intellect VS AI. Thought poetry and the real possibilities of AI". The current exhibition introduces the collection of the gallery MuseumLV - the works of famous Latvian artists whose personal exhibitions were held in the gallery for 7 years.

During February and March, at the gallery MuseumLV the following events are taking place:

1. Master classes in oil painting, watercolor, pastel drawing, portrait drawing; 

2. Theater reading of Leonid Filatov's play "About Fedot the Archer, a brave fellow" with the participation of the actors of the Riga Chekhov Theater - Jevgeņijs Čerkess, Anatolijs Fečins un Tatjana Lukašenkova; 

3. Book presentations; 

4. Creative experiment – ​​choir performance "Who am I?" during which the chorus will be perform for the first time song “Who am I?” to address the issue of alienation today, caused by both foreign policy and individual human problems in this new decade. Some of the participants in the performance are from Mārupe county mixed choir MASKA, who won the "City of Derry International Choir Festival" international choir competition in Northern Ireland; 

5. Self-creative invention - performance - research.
